Lettuce Gardens & Farms

At Whisper Valley, your family can enjoy fresh, nutritious, organic food grown right in your neighborhood and delivered directly to your doorstep. Whisper Valley will have a combination of gardens (under 5,000 square feet) and farms (over 5,000 square feet) located throughout the community, including the demonstration gardens that have already begun producing fruit and vegetables and the upcoming anchor farms that will be adjacent to the Discovery Center.

These farms will produce plenty of produce for residents in the initial phases of the community. Seven or eight pocket farms equal a one-acre farm, which can produce enough food for 200-300 families. As Whisper Valley grows, we will continue to add more gardens and farms including a HUB farm (1-2 acres in size) as soon as the community population requires it.
